2004 USA JO Championships at Houston

Qualifying
There are 28 teams that qualify for the JO Open National tournament in each of the 14-18 age groups. Eight of the nine national qualifying tournaments can award up to 3 bids to the JO's in Atlanta this summer. The rest of the bids are chosen as at-large selections. If a team wins a bid and has already qualified through a previous tournament, then that bid can trickle down a place to no lower than fourth. Any duplicated bids that are not used will be added to the at-large selections.
The Club tourney will have 2 divisions (National and American) with 48 teams for each of the age groups from 14-17 and 64 teams for the 12s and 13s in the National division. The American Division 18s will have 24 teams. One club bid will be awarded at each National qualifier for a total of 9 and the remaining 39 teams will be selected at the regional level.
